Congress Merge Privacy Policy

Congress Merge is a strong supporter of individual privacy of the Internet. For this reason, this privacy policy outlines how your email address or how any information collected on this website may be used.

IP Addresses:

The Congress Merge web server tracks the IP addresses of computers connecting to our web pages. This information is used in the aggregate to measure the total number of web requests made from a given domain (for example, 16,000 requests were recently made from house.gov addresses). The information collected does not identify the individual or computer making the request.  None of this information is sold to others.

Congress Merge does not keep any of your personal information. This information is gathered solely for the purposes of:

  • Being able to respond to your communication to Congress Merge,
  • Establishing who represents you in Congress and to allow you to contact them electronically.

It is not stored or archived in any manner.
